We bring together the people responsible for what leadership has become, and we publish what they find.
§ 01 — Position
The Council is a society of practitioners, researchers and executives. Its work is the careful study of how leadership is actually carried out in contemporary organisations.
Its standards are independent of any commercial training body, business school, or consultancy.

Each spring the Council issues a peer-reviewed volume of findings, dissents and proceedings — placed in the public record without paywall.
Working groups convene under the Chatham House Rule. Minutes, but not attribution, are released to the archive.
§ 03 — Posture
The Council accepts no funding from training providers, business schools or consultancies whose work is the subject of its inquiry. Membership is by nomination and disclosed in full.
